Permeation tubes :

 

 

 

A constant flow " d " of pure gas is delivered from CALIBRAGE's sources, they are of three different types : permeation, diffusion and saturation. Swept by a carrier gas flow " D " (see Calibrators), you can generate a Calibration blend at a known concentration " C " . " C " is then calculated by the ratio " d " / " D ".

 

 

 

 

Substance list

 

 A sealed reservoir, part of which is a polymeric membrane, is filled with pure gas or liquid . By maintaining this reservoir at a constant temperature, a very stable and uniform flow " d " of pure compound will be released from the permeation tube . This is called the permeation rate.

  

Substances : SO2, NO2, H2S, THT, H2O, BTX, COV ..... .....and each product with a boiling point between -80°C et +120°C.

 

Concentration ranges :

1 ppb-v to 30 ppm-v.

 

 


 

 

Diffusion Tubes :

A capillary tube or a very small orifice is connected to a reservoir filled with pure liquid . By maintaining temperature and pressure constant, the tube will provide a very stable flow " d " called diffusion rate.

Substances : BTX, COV, BTX, COV, Mercury, H2O, ..... and each liquid with a boiling higher than 50°C..

Concentration ranges : from 100 ppb-v to 1000 ppm-v.

 

Saturation :

A pure liquid filled container is maintained at a constant temperature and pressure . If you sweep this container with a carrier gas you'll get a constant loss of pure product " d " due to its vapor pressure.

Substances : BTX, COV, H2O, .... and each liquid with a boiling point higher than 50°C.

Concentrations ranges : 100 ppm-v au %

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Metrology of sources :

- The pure gas flow " d " from the source is measured by successive weighing within known time intervals.

- Referring to national standards of temperature, weight and time enables us to provide you traceable sources.

- accuracy on flow " d " are in the ranges +/-2 and +/-10%, depending on type of source and its operating conditions.

 Note : accuracy given are always given with a confidence interval of 95% (2 x Relative Standard Deviation , RSD).
